I was in close contact with Hank at the age of three so I was told by my father . He explained that hank would come next door to where we lived at that time which was called leger's corner , now Dieppe. Hank would sing and play with friends all night. I would hear him sing and play on the radio at that time, as young as I was and have loved hank, his singing , and great picking on the guitar ever since. He would play guitar and sing to the people on main steet so my dad told me.What a treat that would have been had I been older at the time. I am 73 now and still feel the same about him , I miss not having him still here with us. God bless him .He's my hero of western music.

Grew up learning most of Hank's music on the guitar and performed many of his songs on the stage with Bob King, Bob Desmond.
He was one of the very GREAT in Country Music. His guitar playing was exceptional !!

My husband Russ thought Hank was the greatest!! At the age of 10 my husband got his first guitar and started playing all Hank's songs. He became very good at the guitar, though he was an civil engineer by trade. One of his favorite songs was, With This Ring I thee Wed, which he sang and picked for me. My husband is now deceased but I play Hank's songs all the time and think of him. I hope they are playing together up above.
