Welcome to the Hank Snow Country Music Centre website - an online resource for people who want to know more about world renowned country music legend Hank Snow. Hank was born just outside of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, and as a young teenager he occasionally slept in Liverpool's historic CN Railway Station, now the home of the most unique country music attraction northeast of Nashville. The Hank Snow Country Music Centre was showcased more than once on TNN shows 'Today's Country' and 'This Week in Country Music', and features many personal memorabilia of Nova Scotia's "native son" Hank Snow (including his 1947 convertible Cadillac) as well as memorabilia from various Canadian country music stars, including Carroll Baker, Wilf Carter, Ronnie Prophet, George Hamilton IV, Lucille Starr and others.

The museum contains interactive, educational displays, telling the history of country music and its instruments, which are a delight for our younger audiences. You are also invited to watch rare footage on various video presentations.

The HANK SNOW COUNTRY MUSIC CENTRE is also the home of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, the Nova Scotia Ukulele Hall of Fame and an extensive country music archives and library. The museum gift shop offers an extensive selection of rare classical country CDs and tapes, unique souvenirs, the Hank Snow Centre Video, pictures, books and instrument supplies. The centre has washroom facilities, a picnic area, coach and RV parking and is wheelchair accessible.

Check out our new online store with gifts, music and more from Hank Snow and other Country Music legends.

NS Music Hall of Fame
